The drug normalizes blood flow in the pelvis and prevents the development of stagnant processes. The size of hemorrhoidal cones decreases, and after a short time they resolve.

Release form and composition

The medication is available in the form of capsules (some patients believe that these are rectal suppositories) and gel. The concentration of the active substance in the gel does not exceed 2%, which is much less than in capsules (about 300 mg). The form of the drug determines the features of its use. The gel is used only for external treatment, and the capsules are intended for oral administration.

Troxevasin is available in the form of gel and tablets

Composition of venotonic (per 1 g of product):

• troxerutin – 20 mg (for ointment) and 300 mg (for tablets);
• EDTA disodium – 4-8 mg;
• trolamine – 7 mg;
• benzalkonium chloride – up to 1 mg;
• triethanolamine – 4 mg;
• purified water – 970-990 mg;
• lactose monohydrate (for tablets);
• quinoline;
• magnesium stearate;
• carbomer – 6 mg.

The medication is sold in plastic and aluminum tubes (40 g). The capsule form is produced in plastic blisters, 10 capsules each, 5 blisters in 1 package
